Igor Katz

Adv. Igor Katz is the Head of the Professional and Regulation Department at Shimonov & Co.

Adv. Katz possesses expertise and extensive experience in corporate law and securities law, including capital raisings and securities offerings, tender offers, private placements, complex transactions, financing, structural changes and arrangements, and mergers and acquisitions. He provides ongoing legal advice to public companies in a wide range of areas of activity and manages their contacts with statutory authorities (including the Israel Securities Authority and the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange). In addition, he prepares legal opinions on complex issues, and has been involved over the years in the preparation of precedent-setting legal opinions as well as the design of innovative and complex business models in the framework of transactions, securities offerings and regulatory proceedings.

He holds a degree in Accounting and has extensive familiarity with accounting, finance and tax aspects involved in the business operations of public companies.
